Why is US education system leaving boys behind?

Are boys/Men being left behind in education and society and WHY? There’s enormous shame in being a boy today because of the way our society has changed. Historically, men were trained to be willing to die protecting women and children. We don’t encourage that mindset anymore. Dad-style parenting vs. Mom-style parenting is different. Both are important for various reasons. Parents are not supposed to be their kids’ friend. They’re parents. Family dinner night is one of the most valuable tools you can have in a family.
