Why do we celebrate Labor Day?

Some people try to convince us that Labor Unions instituted the 40 hour work weeks. Nope. It was a big bad corporation and it’s greedy, money-grubbing owner.
Henry Ford was the first to institute a 40 hour work week and kept his employees happy by doubling the average wage for the workers.
