They call it dope for a reason!

Dec 12, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 8:55 pm PST

***** REPLAY Nov 14, 2018 *****

With guest, Cary Quashen, founder of Action Family Rehab and Counseling.

We’re in the next public health epidemic right now, it’s teenagers and THC (marijuana). Kids are smoking and eating this drug that is exponentially stronger than what it was 40 years ago.

Parents aren’t interested in putting their teens into treatment for excessive pot use, so they aren’t getting treated until they are adults.

There are new types of addicts now:

1. Accidental addicts: They went in for surgery and became addicted.

2. Breaking contracts: Vaping -> cigarettes -> pot -> drugs.

When kids start smoking pot, they lose motivation and start dropping out of life saying they’re no longer interested. The emotional addiction is the hardest part to break.
