Do we REALLY have education options for our kids?
Jul 12, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 8:55 pm
***** REPLAY from June 12, 2018 *****
Jeff Brown, founder of Learn4Life charter school program.
A charter school IS a public school, but it has more flexibility to meet individual student needs.
“At risk” doesn’t mean “bad kids”. It just means they are at risk of not graduating. Sometimes that means a family situation, health issue, or even already pursing their career and needs more flexible education options.
Charter schools are another option to parents at no cost to them. Personalized education for kids “at risk” of not graduating.
There are different opportunities within various charter schools. Some are seat-based, some are online, and some, like Learn4Life, are personalized education programs.
In traditional school, teachers can spend approximately 15 mins/week one-on-one with each child. There are just too many kids for each teacher to spend more with them.
The Charter School movement is NOT your enemy, it’s your friend.
