Do the gun makers really finance the NRA?

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand claims the NRA is “largely funded” by gun manufacturers. FALSE! In reality, “Less than 5% of NRA’s operating budget comes from the gun industry” and that includes sporting goods stores! NRA’s money comes from members. Not from the taxpayer, like Planned Parenthood. And NRA doesn’t kill people, unlike Planned Parenthood.

Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) said that Julian Assange’s arrest sends a message to every American: “Be quiet, toe the line, otherwise there will be consequences.”

Media Matters doesn’t like that Joe Rogan hosts more men on the show than women.
