Texas enacts free speech bill on college campuses, even though we still have the 1st Amendment, to ensure they are not discriminating against certain groups of people. Only one public Texas college was found to uphold the 1st Amendment. The rest were censoring speakers. Gov. Abbott tweeted, “It’s crazy we have to pass a law to uphold the First Amendment.”
