Doug Johnson

Before Doug began writing and speaking about political issues, he spent his life as a businessman. When the Recession began in 2008 Doug Johnson looked back at his successful business career of over 30 years and realized that he had an obligation to do something that had a farther reach than he could have with only his consulting business. In his career he'd learned the secrets of the successful businesses that not only survived, but thrived during the Great Depression. Doug knew he had to share that knowledge so that employees, employers, and businesses today could learn how they, too, could survive and thrive regardless of the economy.

After years of friends and clients telling him to write a book to help businesses, he finally decided to do just that when he saw so many individuals and businesses hurting from the impact of the Recession, which now, he believes, has become a depression. He ended up writing a book to help businesses with their sales. His first book won the Best New Sales Advice Book Award. He then wrote a second book, this time on leadership and management, and when this one came out he won the 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Award. He has since written books on political science and self improvement.

In addition, he does public speaking and radio and TV appearances to have a wider impact and help more people.
