Members of Antifa in Seattle made a snow barrier outside of a Seattle Police Department station, temporarily blocking officers from responding to emergency calls.
Videos posted by Instagram user ‘standwithseattlepd’ show a heap of snow before a garage door of the East Precinct as a police vehicle struggles to exit the building.
“Antifa goons blocked the exit of the East Precinct with a pile of snow tonight, in an effort to stop vehicles from responding to emergency calls,” the user wrote in the caption of one video.
The clip shows an SPD vehicle arriving at the precinct to a small group of protesters who claimed they were “just having a friendly snowball fight” at the precinct.
As some officers tried to clear the way with shovels, the protesters continued to argue and asked what laws they were breaking.
“Obstruction,” said an officer. “You cannot block police from exiting a police vehicle precinct.”
“No one’s blocking anything,” said one woman.
In another video posted by journalist Andy Ngo, who reports on Antifa activity, protesters are seen cheering and throwing snowballs when the police vehicle unsuccessfully attempts to go over the barrier.
