
The United Methodist Church unveiled a plan for a new conservative denomination — ending years of attacks by radical sex and gender revolutionaries.
LGBT activists have demanded the United Methodist Church reject the teachings of the Bible on marriage and homosexuality — to accommodate their lifestyle choices.
The traditional Methodist denomination would continue to follow the teachings of the Bible regarding marriage and ordination. The other denomination would ignore the teachings of the Bible on marriage and LGBT ordination.
“The solution that we received is a welcome relief to the conflict we have been experiencing,” Rev. Thomas Berlin told The New York Times. “I am very encouraged that the United Methodist Church found a way to offer a resolution to a long conflict.”
