Why did God do this to Texas?

I find it interesting that people who dont believe in God want to blame God for bad things but no recognition for the good things.

Atheist Asked Texas Christians to Explain Why God Is Doing This to Them. Texans Respond Beautifully

Note: This article contains coarse language that may offend some readers.

Many cold opportunists have used the tragedy in Texas as an opportunity to score cheap points politically and culturally. Those with cold hearts look past the beautiful stories of regular Texans helping their neighbors in need and the outpouring of treasure and love from hurting average Americans, and only see cause for continuing to attack one another.

People have used the tragedy to push climate change agendas, attack the president, and attack Texas culture.

Some are even using it to attack Christians and those who believe in God.

A popular YouTube personality known as Onision tweeted this message with a photo of Houston underwater:

There are a lot of Christians in Texas, so any of you want to explain your god doing this kind of thing!

The responses were … beautiful.

Christians are called to help those who suffer in difficult situations, using the opportunity to show Christ’s love (Matthew 25:37-40).

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
