Our god given rights supersede the founding of the United States, the Declaration of Independence, and our Constitution. Therefore, with all the rhetoric today about our second amendment and gun control, it is just that; rhetoric. Politicians cannot take away any of our God given rights, including our second amendment. They can however, try to make laws that only make sense in their minds.
Cicero had it right, and I quote:
“The Law is right reason, consonant with nature, spread through all people. It is constant and eternal; it summons duty by its orders, it deters from crime by its prohibitions. It orders and prohibitions to good people and never given in vain; but it does not move the wicked by these orders or prohibitions. It is wrong to pass laws obviating our law; it is not permitted to abrogate any of it; it cannot be totally repealed. We cannot be released from this law by the senate or the people, and it needs no exegete or interpreter.”
We The People of our great nation will be bound by our eternal and unchangeable God given rights, and God will be the one common master and general (so to speak) of all people. As in so eloquently written and expressed in the Declaration of Independence:
“to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind.”
Our law makers have forgotten our history, and they no longer understand our Declaration of Independence or what our Constitution truly represents.
Our God given rights are under attack. If we continue to allow the progressive liberals to push their social engineering ideology, it will grow like a cancer and destroy the very foundation our nation’s principals were founded on. To quote U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia:
“Our Constitution is based on Newtonian Principals, not Darwinian… The Constitution is not a living organism, It’s a legal document, and it says what it says and doesn’t say what it doesn’t say.”
We The People must unite. It is the only way to protect our rights, and our great nation.
Our Forefathers saw this moment coming. They knew men would become corrupt and they knew that absolute power and greed would one day undermine the principals of our great nation. Our forefathers also understood they needed to give We The People the power to remove this mess from our government. If our law makers can not work together for the good of the people and our nation, there will come a time in the very near future, that We The People will need to flex our muscles to remove the corruption from our government permanently. This will include many on both sides of the aisle.
To quote President George Washington:
“Liberty is the Basis, and whoever would dare to sap the foundation, or overturn the Structure, under whatever specious pretexts he may attempt it, will merit the bitterest execration, and the severest punishment which can be inflicted by his injured Country.”
