For a year and a half now, Donald Trump had made Ford his automotive punching bag, but he’s been turning his attention to other automakers outsourcing production.
The latest to wind up in his crosshairs has been General Motors. While most call it “GM” for short, I can’t help but think that abreviation should stand for “Government Motors,” given the $51 billion in taxpayer money they received in one form or another from the Federal government after filing for the fourth largest bankruptcy in American history back in 2009.
Despite the generosity the American taxpayer was forced to give to GM, the company isn’t returning the favor. In response to news that GM would be producing a particular car in Mexico….
