When Donald Trump started campaigning to become the Republic candidate, he faced many opponents who believed that he is a narcissist, racist, bully, and/or tactless. Months have passed and some people still have the same negative opinion of the candidate.

Maybe, instead of believing all that the mainstream media says, they should watch a short five-minute video about Trump. Lynne Patterson who works as the director of the Eric Trump Foundation and assistant to Eric, Ivana, and Donald Trump Jr., posted a video on YouTube to deny the negative perception media has given the candidate and to show who Donald Trump really is.

Contrary to what his opponents thinks, Patton mentioned:

“The Trump family that I know is, without question, one of the most generous, compassionate and philanthropic families I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing and the honor to call friends …They … hire more minority and female executives than any other company for which I’ve ever worked.”

Moreover, although some people may consider Trump and his policies to be racists and anti-immigrant, Patton believes that they are far from true and that those policies would only help the US.

“To equate racism with my boss’ call for a temporary moratorium on a flawed immigration system that radical Islamic terrorists continue to exploit, or the construction of an impassible wall to protect our borders from the influx of illegal drugs, is not only incendiary, it’s wholly irresponsible …”

For Patton, it was important to refute, what she felt, were terrible lies about Trump:

“I can no longer remain silent about the repeated and reprehensible attempts to align my boss and his family with racist hate-mongering groups, campaigns and messaging,”

She understands that some people will doubt what she is saying since she works for the Republican candidate, but she states that:

“[She] deliberately chose not to seek their approval nor council in advance to this video… and the fact that quite simply this is the right thing to do”

It is plausible that she decided to speak against the mainstream media and deny the negative qualities attributed to Trump.

It is a great example of the importance of the freedom of speech: it allows people to hear a different side to every story.
