It has been 5 years since Casey Anthony’s murder trial and news of her has been sparked again. The woman accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter back in 2011 has now been approved for a home daycare license in Florida. Anthony has stated that since the trial, life has “been extremely difficult and she feels that she’s been forced to live as a recluse.” Due to this, Anthony has tried multiple online jobs but took up neighborhood babysitting, although parents were reluctant.
Debbie Higgins, single mother of her 2 children stated: “Admittedly, I was initially reluctant to leave my kids in the care of Casey, it was a tough decision to make”
Despite Anthony’s trial history and the reluctancy of the neighbors, the state of Florida has approved Anthony for a home daycare license. She is set to open up her new business in mid-September.
