A nine-year-old girl in Utah was denied an inhaler after a coughing fit sent her throwing up and not able to breathe during school hours. School officials took the inhaler to make sure it was for that specific student and made her parents fill out paperwork for student safety. The school said they would have called 911 if the girl had grown worse, but the parents think the school should have done more because by then it might have been too late.
As Fox6now reports, “Emma’s father was contacted during the coughing fit. After Monday’s incident, he plans to keep his daughter out of school for the time being.” Her inhaler was taken away when it was needed most because of some “school policy.” Black and white a little people?
