Josh Duggar. It’s shameful. In case you missed it, with the mass release (data breach) of client names from the cheating, hookup website Ashley Madison, the one getting the most attention is Josh Duggar. Was he the only celebrity out of 36 million names and 15,000 government emails? Who knows. But he’s definitely the one in the headlines right now.
If you’re following the story and watching the comments, it’s sad to see how bad a beating he’s taking. Was what he did wrong? Yes! You won’t find me defending him. The guy has already owned up to his mistake. But apparently, he’s the ONLY one on the list who made a mistake. The rest of them were ok, right?
Why was Duggar’s a mistake? Because he’s a self-professed Christian who’s been acting like a hypocrite. And what makes Duggar so extra-hypocritical (and such a delicious media target) is the fact that he was on a holier-than-thou soapbox with his conservative political activism.
And now the liberal commenters on social media begin railing on Christians… all Christians, because if one very outspoken Christian does it, we all do it, right? WRONG! One guy does NOT represent ALL Christians… well, unless it’s Jesus Christ. Last I checked, Josh Duggar is not Jesus Christ!
Hey, all you liberal commenters… how about we apply YOUR Liberal Logic to this situation? Stay out of other people’s bedroom, and let the Duggars work out their own personal business. And if you feel so inclined, pray for his wife and family. Lord knows they’re going to need it to get through this mess!
Now… can we focus on why 15,000 people are using government-issued emails (money, time, and resources), intended to conduct government business, in an obviously personal way? I’d like my tax dollars back!
