Chattanooga “Jihad” Not “Heartbreak”

Mass Violence Doesnt Happen In Other Countries, Obama

While our president plays politics, our soldiers are harmed or kept imprisoned in other countries unfairly. And now five soldiers are dead and another service member and a Chattanooga police officer survived gunshots after Thursday’s two-stage massacre allegedly at the hands of 24-year-old jihadist Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez.

In his presidential address after the event, President Obama didn’t say it was an act of domestic terrorism or jihad but “heartbreaking circumstances in which they found themselves.” Sorry to say it was far from heartbreaking. Heartbreaking is when your mom and dad die or when a hurricane comes and wipes out a neighborhood.

And for those gun control activists curtailing liberties, this tragedy might have been avoided if those Marines had been armed. I say MIGHT because it’s in God’s control but fewer lives might have been lost to this coward who shot through his car window and didn’t face these military service people himself. Our national security was threatened and our military shot down in cold blood not even fighting for our country but serving recruits.
