South Carolina Representative Trey Gowdy says he wants a justice system that is color blind.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) went off during the House hearing today on Community Hearing today. Gowdy read off a list of police officers killed in the line of duty and victims of intra-racial murder.

The video doesn’t show Professor Ramirez’s remarks, but judging from Rep. Gowdy’s answers, she must have been advocating for improved “processes” or “procedures” regarding law enforcement. He got more than a little passionate in his response.
