Is that really the best they could do? Or did someone just not do their homework?
Pro-abortion Congressman John Lewis, from Georgia, is set to deliver the commencement speech at Catholic Elms College. To be fair, the college was focusing on his historic participation in and efforts to advance civil rights. Congressman Lewis was one of the leaders in the historic Selma march in 1965. That’s an admirable accomplishment to be commended and certainly nothing to sneeze at.
But given his 100% approval rating from the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League for his pro-abortion voting record, is he really the right person to be delivering a speech meant to inspire future leaders as they get ready to enter the world and make their mark?
I find it hard to believe that the college couldn’t find a commencement speaker who more closely lined up with ALL their moral values. What do you think?
