Keep “Under God” – they don’t have a right to silence everyone else

The American Humanist Association (AHA) has filed suit AGAIN to remove “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance. Now, a high school student is fighting back with a suit to keep it in the Pledge.

Beckett Fund attorney, Emily Hardman says of the AHA, “they have the right to remain silent, but they don’t have the right to silence everybody else.”

According to WesternJournalism.com:

17-year-old high school senior Samantha Jones appeared on Mike Huckabee’s show Saturday to talk about why she is fighting to keep “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance in the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District in New Jersey.

The phrase is under fire once again, this time from the American Humanist Association (AHA), which filed a suit earlier this year claiming that saying “under God” in the Pledge “marginalizes atheist and humanist kids as something less than ideal patriots.” They have started a “Don’t Say The Pledge” campaign…
