This woman, Kelly Atlas, is on a mission to free animals with her “it’s not food, it’s violence” campaign. She doesn’t call them animals. In this video she paints a horrific picture of the life of a “little girl” who she later reveals is a chicken. Apparently the chicken speaks to Kelly because she talks about how the chicken is sad and how the chicken “wants to live.” She does this through a very loud, tearful plea to the patrons of a restaurant who are clearly eating chickens as well as eggs.
Do you think she would be as passionate about the babies being murdered at an abortion clinic? You can watch her diatribe here:
I’d like to tell you that this woman’s impassioned rant doesn’t really mean anything, but the fact that this video has received over 400,000 views (at the time of this post) suggests that this is something we cannot ignore. People like Kelly not only want to save the animals, they want to give them rights equal to humans… rights to sue, rights to contract… no, I’m not kidding either.
History is clear… ignoring a fringe minority brings about changes that the majority has to live with. If she stops by your restaurant or a restaurant you’re patronizing, speak up and call her out. She doesn’t have a right to come into a private establishment and be disruptive. Free speech doesn’t give you the right to trample on others. Take a look at their agenda here. It’s all about disruption.
As an aside… my chickens have never spoken to me, but I can tell you that they run out to greet me whenever I head out into the backyard. I would suspect that if they could talk they would thank us for keeping them safe in an enclosed cage, otherwise they would have been coyote food the same day we brought them home.
