Bible Ban in Navy Lodges….To What is the World Coming?

Two months ago, the U.S. Navy made a controversial decision to remove Bibles from the recreational lodges on-base due a complaint filed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation.

Today, the Navy announced it has decided to reverse course.

A Navy spokesman said that Bibles will be available again in base lodges. The spokesman also announced that an investigation was underway to determine the reason behind the initial decision to remove the Bibles. Lo and behold, guess who encouraged them to remove Bible in the first place? No, not another atheist group! That’s right, the Freedom from Religious Foundation complained the Bibles violated constitutional rights and implied government endorsement.  Actually, Gideon International supplies them, and they aren’t a government entity!  Sorry, again!  Also, it is people’s choice whether they want to pull it out and read it.  Another victory for the patriots for religious freedom!
