This just in… 8 year-old kids imagining guns will get them disciplined and potentially labeled with “bad behavior”. Ahhh… don’t you just long for the times when a little boy only dreamed of a gun to “get the bad guy” or “fight the enemy”? Now it’s automatically assumed that they will soon be entering the neighborhood gang or could be the next serial killer in training.
If we train this natural desire to protect and serve out of our children and instill a fear in them for every use of a weapon… who will be the next generation of soldiers and police? I’m predicting an industry shortage of interested and qualified candidates in the not too distant future.
