A new study from Cornell University says that eating chicken from the bone causes aggressive behavior and disobedience in children. Because we just need one more “diagnosis” to explain away our children’s bad behavior instead of figuring out how to parent properly, right?
Well, that certainly would explain my 4 kids! They could pack away chicken wings like you wouldn’t believe.
I don’t know who thinks up these ridiculous studies, let alone how they’re able to find someone to fund them. And don’t even get me started about the people who actually believe them. My first question (of many) would be, how did they establish a “control group”? Studies are supposed to be tightly controlled to minimize other factors affecting the outcome. So… how controlled was it? I have no idea. Let me know if you figure it out.
You can read a little more about the study here.
