Overuse of calling people “racists” actually makes the word of no value. Many have taken to using the word like a bomb. They throw it into the middle of a conversation to distract from the real conversation or even shutdown the conversation.
Whenever that “racist” word is thrown out, especially at a white person, they are typically so uncomfortable that they just drop the conversation. We need to stop backing down! Just because we don’t agree with someone who is not the same race as ourselves, doesn’t make us racists!! It just means we disagree on the issue. Don’t let them get away with it!
Take a look at this article. It was disturbing to me. The guilt they are instilling in white people simply for being born white is frightening. White people can’t help being white any more than a black person can help being black. It’s just what they are. No one needs to apologize for their color.
