Presidents Day is out, Cesar Chavez Day is in & Political division

Feb 16, 2016 @ 8:00 pm - 8:55 pm

Jason Wert

Many universities honor federal holidays such as Labor Day, MLK Day, and even Cesar Chavez Day, but most are now choosing not to honor Presidents’ Day. I don’t begrudge MLK a day, but Cesar Chavez is NOT in the same league as MLK. And the presidents should not be slighted. This is why our history is fading.

Senior Correspondent for USARadioNetworks News, Jason Wert says STOP with the conspiracy theories around SCOTUS Justice Scalia’s death.

Jason says, we’re so politically divided as a nation, that the notion that people with opposing viewpoints could actually be friendly has become a foreign concept.

In our day and age of 30-second soundbites, most people don’t have any inclination to look more deeply at political issues.
