Last night’s debate revealed a narrowed field of five GOP candidates in a highly conservative state. What started out as candidates taking turns answering questions about immigration and healthcare turned into a circus of cacophony as the three top candidates talked over each other all in their hurry to attach one another.Rubio and Cruz took particular aim at Trump, some of it legit. Rubio called Trump to declare his real plan for substituting Obamacare. Cruz questioned his support of Israel and Republicans, citing previous financial contributions to people of opposite ilk.

The line of the night was when Trump started repeating his “removing the lines around the states” and Rubio laughingly said, “Look you’re repeating yourself” alluding to his own gaffe a month earlier at the last debate. Later, the moderator said if someone was attacked they had a chance to respond. Dr. Carson quipped “Can I get attacked?” because he was barely asked two questions all night.

“What’s your plan?” was the theme of the night as candidates vie to come to the forefront on Super Tuesday and “dethrone” Trump. Politicians vs business people… polarizing vs calm… proven track record for the Constitution vs mere words. All will reveal itself in the coming weeks.
