2nd Amendment doesn’t apply to NJ, another citizen jailed

And here we have another instance of New Jersey stripping 2nd Amendment rights from another American citizen visiting the state, this one actually defending his and his wife’s lives under attack by a gang member. This American law-abiding citizen and veteran is now sentenced to 364 days in jail. Not a shot was fired.

Please join me in signing this PETITION to NJ Governor Chris Christie to pardon U.S. Marine Master Gunnery Sergeant (Ret) Richard Zahn. Why? 2nd Amendment. Period.

We should not have to research every law before crossing state lines. We are the UNITED States of America. Those items not specifically addressed in the Constitution are left to the discretion of the states.

As I see it, New Jersey is in violation of the 10th Amendment:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

You can’t use a “states rights” argument to remove rights granted in a previous Amendment. It says so right there in the “states rights” 10th Amendment.
